WEST PALM BEACH, FL, August 2, 2019. Natalie Parker has accepted the position of Director of Development for the Armory Art Center effective August 19, 2019. She recently served as Individual & Planned Giving Manager for Palm Beach Opera. Natalie will lead the new phase of philanthropic growth for the Armory.
Natalie’s career is in non-profit development and event management. In addition to the Palm Beach Opera, she worked for the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County, the Alzheimer’s Association-South Florida Chapter, and Boca Ballet Theatre.
Natalie earned a Master of Non-Profit Management from Florida Atlantic University, Bachelor of Science at Butler University in Dance and Arts Administration, and diploma from A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts as a dance major.
“It is truly an honor to be selected as the Armory Art Center’s Director of Development. As a lifelong member of the arts community in Palm Beach County, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of the continued and future success for such a wonderful organization” Natalie explains.
Arts Consulting Group led the executive search process. Search committee member and Armory Board President Ann Brown said, “We are very excited that Natalie will be joining our team. Having lived here her whole life, she already has a passion for the Armory and will be a great asset to us.”
Serving the area for over 30 years, the Armory Art Center’s mission is to inspire the creation and experience of art. Classes for youth and adults include drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, textiles & fiber, and digital media & photography. Exhibitions, lectures, and events are open to the public. Outreach art programs serve at-risk youth, US Vets, and young victims of trauma. With Natalie Parker’s efforts, the Armory looks forward to expanding programs and facilities to meet increasing demand.
