Starting with the basics, this class will focus on the foundations and techniques of wheel-thrown pottery.  The class is geared toward beginners with no experience, and intermediate potters who wish to hone their skills.  Learn to make cups, bowls, lidded vessels, and other useful forms.  Instruction follows the process of making pottery from start to finish.  Upon completion of the class, students will be able to create their own wheel-thrown pottery from a ball of clay.  Eric Olson brings a fun and easily understandable teaching method to his classes and has taught hundreds of students the joy of working with clay–The Mother of All Media.

Masks must be worn at all times on campus and during classes; temperature checks are required before entering class/open studio. Clay can be purchased in the ceramics studio.
