Drawing for Beginners
This class focuses on the basics of drawing lines, shapes, shades, perspectives, and proportions. Students will use materials such as charcoal, pen, and pencils while learning each medium’s unique qualities to make 2D shapes appear 3D.
Masks must be worn at all times on campus and during classes; temperature checks are required before entering class/open studio.

Michael Las Casas is an accomplished local artist experienced in watercolors, oils, pastels, street painting, screen printing, graphic design, graphite, and color pencil. Michael is a member of the Color Pencil Society of America, Florida Plein Aire Artists Association, and a perennial favorite “Featured Artist” of the Street Painting Festival in downtown Lake Worth. He studied fine arts at the University of Wisconsin, Baraboo. He was the art director for Palm Beach Funwear screen printed apparel, and Flipcity Graphix, and is the art editor for a local governmental agency. www.michaellascasas.com/
