Functional Ceramics & Decor
In this class, we will use everyday objects and handmade tools to create and decorate plates, platters, and other functional ceramic creations. The instructor and students will work together completing projects following the instructor’s demonstration.
CLASS WILL BE HELD IN THE CERAMICS BUILDING
Masks must be worn at all times on campus and during classes; temperature checks are required before entering class/open studio. Clay can be purchased in the ceramics studio.

Odile Yeramian is a French self-taught artist. After a successful career in international marketing, she turned her focus to ceramics, taking interest in the versatility of the material. She explores unconventional surface treatment for functional and sculptural pieces. She is also experienced in welding, and often incorporates steel into her mixed-media work.
