Experiment with raku glaze techniques and alternative firing methods using saggars, sawdust, and horse hair.  While there will be time to make new forms in class, students are encouraged to bring bisque objects for glazing and firing.  Prerequisite: a basic knowledge of clay and ability to work somewhat independently.

*No class 11/27 (7 weeks)

Masks must be worn at all times on campus and during classes; temperature checks are required before entering class/open studio. Clay and ceramic tools can be purchased in the ceramics building.

All students must read and sign the health policy & waiver to attend Session 2 on-campus classes.
