Upcycled Fashion Design
Learn how to design and create new fashion out of previously loved clothes. This concept of design extends the life of garments that otherwise would be landfilled. Along the way we will make a backpack with a pair of pants, create a mash-up garment (1 piece from 2 discarded garments), and do a freestyle project. A basic understanding of sewing is required.
CLASS WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE TEXTILES & FIBER STUDIO
Masks must be worn at all times on campus and during classes; temperature checks are required before entering class/open studio.
