This course will introduce the fundamental skills necessary to center clay and produce basic pottery forms such as bowls, cylinders, mugs, and vases. Learn about the balance between aesthetic and utilitarian concerns which determine the difference between good and great work.

Masks must be worn at all times on campus and during classes; temperature checks are required before entering class/open studio. Clay and ceramic tools can be purchased in the ceramics building.
