The Old West Palm Beach National Guard Armory, designed by William Manley King, was built in 1939 with Work Progress Administration (WPA) funding. It served as a National Guard Armory until 1982. Since 1987, the building has served as the administrative offices, art studios, gallery spaces, library, retail store, and event space for the Armory Art Center.
The Armory Art Center welcomes the International Coalition of Art Deco Societies for a tour and luncheon of this magnificent example of a Streamline Moderne building.
