Trish Kahn

Trish was born in Longbranch, NJ and grew up in Indianapolis, IN.  She later attended Indiana University where she received a BS degree in education.  After graduation, she taught in the Indianapolis school system for two years.  She continued her teaching in the Miami Dade Schools and

pursued her art career by taking several art courses in different mediums at Florida International University and Broward College.  Upon completion of her coursework, she became a certified art teacher and taught art to a diversified group of students for 11 years in Miami Dade Public Schools.  In addition, she taught after school art classes, ran an art club in a private school setting and gave private instructions in painting.  Along with her love for teaching, painting has always been her true passion.  She is always searching for ways to develop and innovate herself as an artist through professional development classes, workshops, demos, gallery and museum visitations, lectures and travel.  She was a signature member as well as a board member for the Boca Museum of Art Artists Guild, and is currently a member of Women in the Visual Arts, the Broward Art Guild and Palm Beach Plein Air.  Trish resides in Boca Raton, FL where she regularly exhibits in various museums, galleries, businesses, medical centers, recreational areas and libraries.
