Home Education

The Armory Art Center is home to a wide-range of departments and studios, such as: painting, drawing, digital media, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, and jewelry/metalsmithing. This provides those interested in Home Education the opportunity to choose from a variety of unique mediums and projects, and the chance to work with Armory faculty members who are skilled in working with young artists. All instructors are qualified in their field and have completed a background check. Home Education classes are available for children grades K-5 through 12th.

 STUDENTS WILL LEARN:

  • visual arts skills, techniques, and vocabulary
  • use of materials
  • basic safety with a variety of tools
  • 21st-century workplace skills
  • critical thinking skills

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

  • In order to register, classes need to have at least 4 students. You are encouraged to enroll in groups to ensure the class will run.
  • Parents must pay to enroll their student at least¬†2 weeks prior¬†to start date of the class.
  • If the class does not reach the minimum enrollment 2 weeks prior, the class is cancelled.
