SUMMER CAMP TEEN VOLUNTEERS

Summer Camp Volunteering at the Armory Art Center is a stimulating, educational, and rewarding experience!  Our volunteers are essential to the Center’s studio life’s “behind-the-scenes” activities.  Volunteers will gain real-life experience assisting seasoned teaching artists and youth campers in various activities. Summer Camp Volunteers must be in high school; there is no incoming freshman.  The Armory Art Center is a great place to obtain service hours while immersed in a creative and educational environment.  Summer Art Camp Volunteers must be committed to completing an entire week of a summer camp session and be here all day from 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Volunteers can apply to be Teacher Assistants or Camp leaders. We will only accept a limited number of volunteers for each session. If you are interested in volunteering and want to do it in a creative environment while gaining real-life experience working in the arts from an educational perspective, this is the program for you!
