Adjunct Faculty Member

We are accepting applications for Adjunct Faculty Members on a rolling basis. Current priority departments are:
Youth Instructors – all media (ages 2-17)
Adult Instructors – 2D (drawing, painting, watercolor, printmaking, photography, digital arts, fiber, mixed media)

The Armory Art Center is in need of experienced models to pose for figure classes. Please complete the Model Information and Availability Application below.

Internships

Unpaid internships for college students, recent graduates, and graduate students are available throughout the year on a full or part-time basis. Opportunities may last two months or longer. Academic credit may be arranged for interns at their school’s discretion. Applicants should contact us at least 6 weeks prior to the proposed starting date.

Available on a case by case basis. Contact the registrar to be directed.

Volunteering

General Volunteers

Thank you for your interest in serving as an Armory Art Center volunteer.  We welcome students who require service hours for school and community members who have an interest in sharing their love of art with others. Following is a list of volunteer opportunities at The Armory. We will meet with you to assess your interests and match them with our needs. You will then receive specific details and training for the areas in which you will serve.

Here are just a few volunteer opportunities!

Special Events Crew:

Event decoration and set up, greeting guests, taking admission fees, serving food and beverage, collecting surveys

Armory Ambassador:

Representing the Armory at community events, ie: Artigras and Clematis by Night

Guest Services/Receptionist:

Greeting and directing visitors through galleries and to studios, monitoring guest activity in the galleries, collecting surveys

Office Assistant:

Data processing, letter campaigns, mailing packets, filing

Opening Reception Crew:

Greeting guests, taking admission fees, collecting surveys, serving food and beverages

Surveyor:

Collecting surveys of Armory students and guests during Armory classes and events

 

Historic Preservation Grant- Request for Proposals (RFP)

As part of our historic preservation grant, the Armory Art Center is seeking contract proposals for this project.
