My name is Cheyenne Weil and I’m a jeweler/designer out of Portland, Oregon. I make hand-carved and cast pieces, mostly rings, usually out of gold or platinum, sometimes with stones. I stumbled into jewelry making through a few odd jobs that I had during college (where I was not actually studying art or jewelry!). The idea that you could take a thing you carved and transform it into a perfect replica in gold just seized ahold of me. I began focusing on carving specifically after that, creating my tools as needed and learning how to design the kinds of pieces I wanted to make. I’ve been making custom jewelry full time now for 13 years.
