Exhibitions are refreshed approximately every two months, ensuring a dynamic experience for visitors of all ages without any admission fees. We believe in doing our best to value and support the cultural arts in as many ways as possible.

Artists, creators, and supporters can engage with our art center and gain recognition through numerous avenues. Opportunities include showcasing and selling artwork in our galleries, participating in workshops, responding to calls for artists, attending events, and actively participating in our varied programs and classes. “Before I Forget” Kristin M. Beck Exhibition

Join the Armory Art Center as it hosts the interactive exhibition of Floridian Visual Artist Kristin M. Beck!

Before I Forget is a series about dementia, memory, and identity.

Artist Statement: “The body of work, created in response to helping my father who has dementia, visually represents the impaired and declining cognitive functions and memory lapses with portraits, 3D objects, and interactive elements. Some themes include repetition, reminders, response delays, reduced capacities, and realizations of losing a sense of self. In concert with these depictions are audience participation stations and a community building project. Additionally, my goal is to raise awareness for dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.”

Artist Bio: Kristin M. Beck is a writer, artist, and native Floridian, this setting provides colorful characters along with the intense humidity. Influenced by the area’s vibrant culture, her work relies on crustacean-hued memories and is imbued with the sound of wild parrots set free by Hurricane Andrew. Beck has exhibited in nearly 50 exhibitions and in 2024, she received an Artist Support grant from the Broward County Cultural Division.

 BraveHeARTS Exhibition

Join the Armory Art Center as it hosts the talent of our local veterans in the arts!

Armory Art Center’s BraveHeARTS program promotes the rehabilitation of military service veterans through visual arts and the power of creative expression. This program began in April 2018 to assist military veterans from the VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach. The program builds self-esteem, nurtures talent, and promotes the development of new skills through the visual arts. Additionally, the organization helps Veterans with being present, and to improve dexterity. Also, the BraveHeARTS Program strives to instill a sense of accomplishment in each veteran and encourage each to learn new skills. The Armory Art Center is proud to actively support these brave women and men.  The program helps Veterans re-discover strengths while  using community resources.
