APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must submit:

3 photos of your work. Please make sure to submit the best of the best of your work.

$10 non-refundable booth fee, due upon day of application submission

ELIGIBILITY
Students must have participated in an Armory class within the last year (December 2022-present.) All artwork submitted and presented for sale must be designed and executed by the student. Artists must certify that the images submitted represent their current original work. Art collaborators who produce a single product may qualify as a single artist. If work is entered as collaboration, it must be noted on the application and must be clearly defined. Applications are not juried but space is given on a first come, first serve basis; when all spots are filled, no more will be considered.

PARKING: Provided nearby at community center behind the baseball field; first come first serve; neighborhood street parking also available.

DISPLAY SPACES

Ceramic and Jewelry Students
Shared tables provided; two students per table. Each student must provide their own solid color tablecloth (no patterns.) You will be assigned either an 8-foot or 6-foot table, width is 30 inches.  Please indicate if you need a 4’ x 30” space or 3’ x 30” space below.  We will do our best to accommodate your needs. Please indicate the average scale or dimensions of your work. Students are allowed to bring shelves, stands or displays that can be supported by the table.  There will be a total of seventeen tables in our spacious courtyard.

2D Students
One panel will be provided in a shared 10′ x 10′ tent.  Each student will be provided with their own panel, space approximately 4′ x6′.  Please include in your application the average dimensions of your artwork.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

SET UP: Artists must check in at the Armory Art Center by 8:00 am on  Saturday, December 2nd
NO SHOW POLICY: Artists who have not checked in at the Armory in-person by 8:00 am on Saturday, December 2nd will be considered a NO SHOW, and the assigned space will be forfeited with no refund.

NO SOLICITATION: Exhibitors are present at our shows for the purpose of representing their work. No exhibitor, or their representatives, will engage in any type of solicitation of any products, supplies, shows, etc.

WEATHER: The festival is held outdoors. No credits or refunds will be issued if the festival is affected by forces of nature beyond our control. Please check our website for updates on cancellations resulting from severe weather such as hurricanes, tornados, flooding, etc. Please note, we will not cancel a show unless informed by state, city, or local officials that it will be in the best interest of safety for all. Cancellation of the show will be at the show coordinator’s discretion on site at the time.

SECURITY: Please keep your set up simple.  We will have security and may be able to secure tent walls of courtyard tent, but it’s at your discretion to leave your items in the tent. Night security will be provided, however, valuable items and/or technological devices should not be left in the tent overnight. The Armory Art Center is not liable for any items lost, damaged, or stolen. Please use your discretion.

It is the exclusive right and responsibility of the festival staff to call for the removal of work that is not in compliance with the festival policies and requirements.

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Load-in, display set up and break down, professional wrap & bag. Labeling and pricing of your items. Collection of payment via Zelle/Venmo/POS system or cash sales. Artists are responsible for sales system/devices/connectivity, as well as making change if allowing cash sales (there is no ATM on Armory premises.) Full show attendance for entirety of event December 2-3 from 10am-5pm. If you do not possess a business sales tax certificate,  appropriate forms will be provided to complete at the end of the event. By law, the Armory is responsible for the collection of sales tax and to ensure compliance with sales tax regulations.

Locations will be thoughtfully arranged outdoors in the courtyard and along the perimeter of our North parking lot. Notification of space will be sent by November 17, 2023.

By applying to this festival, I hereby certify that these images represent my original work and that the work is unique and made by me. I also agree to follow all festival rules as outlined in the prospectus. In partnership situations, we declare that our combined efforts made every individual piece of work we would exhibit, if accepted. I/We also agree to allow images of my/our work to be used in the event related to publicity and or materials.
