A Day in the Life of Palm Beach
New this year, the Armory Art Center invites artists statewide to submit up to three (3) artworks to our festival juried show, which is in conjunction with our 8th annual Arts + Crafts + Design Festival. This is an extension of our creative market and an opportunity to continue to showcase our amazing Florida-based Artists!
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF PALM BEACH is a call for artists to submit work that grabs our attention and provokes thought while addressing contemporary issues. Whether social, cultural, environmental, inspirational, spiritual, or personal. We encourage artists to delve into modern life’s realities, challenges, struggles, and joys and express them uniquely through their artistic creations. Venue
The Armory Art Center campus facilities include three buildings dedicated to art classes, a sculpture garden, and an interior tented courtyard.
The Armory Art Center provides art classes for students of all ages, exhibitions, art salons, lectures, and special events. Nearly 100 courses held in 12 state-of-the-art studios are offered including
- ceramics, photography & digital media, drawing, jewelry, painting, printmaking, textiles & fiber, and sculpture.
- Youth art classes and summer art camps are offered.
- Various exhibitions are hosted throughout the year in three galleries.
- The campus, located at 811 Park Place, West Palm Beach, at the south end of Howard Park, includes three buildings—the two former Palm Beach County National Guard Armory buildings and the Young Artists Studio Facility.
