Teen Advisory Council Application Deadline

The Teen Advisory Council gives local teens a voice in shaping teen programs and experiences at the Armory Art Center. Designed by teens, for teens, the Council will help us create a space that feels welcoming, relevant, creative, and connected to what teens actually want.
Council members will:
- Meet every two months with Armory staff
- Share ideas about classes, workshops, art media, exhibitions, and events
- Give feedback on how the Armory can better welcome and serve teens
- Help shape marketing and outreach to local teens
- Recommend programs and experiences they and their peers would actually attend
- Have opportunities to plan and develop their own teen-led events, exhibitions, and creative projects
- Build experience in leadership, collaboration, and arts programming
Who can join?
The Council has 15 spots for teens, filled through a brief application process. No advanced art experience is required. We are looking for teens with different interests, experiences, and perspectives who want to share their ideas and make a difference.
Council members receive:
- Volunteer service hours for their participation
- A 10% discount on classes
- Opportunities to develop leadership skills and have a real impact on teen programming
Our goal is to create opportunities with teens, not simply for teens, and give young people an active role in shaping what comes next at the Armory.
